WIC

WIC is a nutritional progaram offered through local health departments for pregnant women and infants through five years old. This program is income based but may provide for at-risk clients as well. One example of this would be a premature infant.
The program provides formula, baby cereal, and baby juice for infants. For pregnant mothers it offers things such as milk, juice, cereal, and cheese. While on this program the (little) clients are monitored for growth and developement changes to help ensure that they are getting the nutrition that they need.
I personally have used this program and think that it is wonderful.
